I was fortunate enough to be invited to exhibit some of my work at Red Gallery All Teeth and Swagger group show. Great show, and a packed vibrant opening night. If you didn't get there for opening night, get along before it closes on Sunday August 6th.
Its all about the dog.
In preparing a few painting for the recent "All Teeth And Swagger" exhibition at Red Gallery, I started looking through all my dog related images ....... and I discovered I had a pack of them. Photos of dog from all over the world and of course a few favourites ...... my dogs! I pulled out my Jedda series, created approximately 30 years ago (all black and white photographs). Taken with my Bronica medium format camera and printed in my 'spare bedroom' darkroom on beautiful fibre based paper, the images focus on our first dog Jedda. Aptly named ( after the 1955 Australian movie) she was found as a stray at parachute club in the country. We took her home, she slowly settled in....... and eventually took over! This is her journey.
